COLLAGE CONCERT HELP (POINSETTIAS)
Wes are seeking volunteers to help with the Collage Concert on December 7th. We are looking for two volunteers to meet us at Schaeffer’s Greenhouse at 9:00 AM to load the poinsettias onto the trailer. We are looking for 5 – 10 volunteers to meet us at PNHS Door P at about 9:35 AM to unload the trailer, then decorate the auditorium, which takes under 1 hour. We are looking for 5 – 10 volunteers to help distribute poinsettias after the second show. The Collage Concert is such a beautiful event! This is a fun, fast, and rewarding volunteer opportunity. It’s time for our December Bake Sale – Friday, December 6. Please sign up at the link below and in the comments indicate what you plan to bake (if not known, it’s ok – I’m just trying to avoid a lot of the same item if we can, but please make, buy whatever – kids will eat anything!) and approximately how many. Again, any amount is appreciated! If we have it they will buy it! Gluten-free items are welcome as well as we have many students who specifically come to buy those items.

NEW YORK TRIP MEETING (12/11/24)
For all those going on the New York trip, we are having a meeting on Wednesday, December 11th, 2024 at 6:30pm in the PNHS Auditorium. We’ll cover a timeline of details leading up to the trip, start preparing hotel room assignments, and at the end of the meeting, we’ll have an initial meet up with chaperones. The meeting should last about 30 minutes.
SOLO/ENSEMBLE REGISTRATION (DUE 12/13/24)
Our annual PSD202 Solo/Ensemble Festival is now open for registration. This is an optional, extra-curricular opportunity for students. Participating in a music solo and ensemble festival helps students grow as musicians by refining their skills, exploring new repertoire, and receiving valuable feedback from professionals. It also builds self-confidence, discipline, and accountability through goal-oriented preparation and performance. Students are encouraged to put together a solo or team up with peers for an ensemble.
The event is on Saturday, February 8th, at Plainfield South High School. Follow the link for more information and registration.
