PERCUSSION CONCERT (5/14/24)
On Tuesday, May 14th, all percussion students will perform in a concert. This allows us to give more performance opportunities for our talented percussionists. The concert will begin at 7pm in the PNHS auditorium. Call time for percussion is 5:30pm.

JUST DESSERTS-CAFE CONCERT (5/10/24)
Join us on the evening of May 10th from 6:30-8:30pm as we feature our small students performance groups and our Jazz Ensemble. This will be a social atmosphere with desserts served. This replaces our spaghetti dinner. We are in need of volunteers for many things:

JAZZ ENSEMBLE PERFORMANCE AT THE VENUE (5/7/24)
Our PNHS Jazz Ensemble will be opening for the Pete Ellman Big Band at the Venue in Aurora, IL on May 7th, 2024. Call time is 6:00 for a brief warm up, and we perform from 6:45-7:15. Afterwards, the Pete Ellman Big Band will perform from 7:30- 9:00 PM. All are welcome to attend and support our Jazz Ensemble, which has been doing some really great things this year!

The Venue is located on 21S. Broadway Ave, Aurora IL 60505. Student performers should enter in the back door facing Broadway. Everyone else should enter in the front door (West side of the building) There is plenty of free parking in the area. However, the Venue no longer recommends parking in the bank parking lot across the street. This is not public parking and people have been getting towed.
The Venue sells soda and alcoholic beverages, as well as some snacks (chips, etc). They do not sell entrees. As a result, they allow you to carry in food, but no carry in beverages of any type are allowed. They also encourage you to visit one of the many local restaurants to enjoy a meal before the concert.
This is our third year performing at the Venue. It is a very cool place to perform and an even cooler place to watch live music. Please come out and support our students as they showcase all of their hard work this year!
GRADUATION (5/18/24)
We are in the last quarter of the school year and graduation is approaching soon. ALL 9th-11th GRADE BAND students are required to perform at graduation. Graduation is SATURDAY, MAY 18th, at 10am. We’ll have a combined rehearsal on Friday, May 17th, from 2:20-3:00pm.
