Each year during band camp the Marching Tigers hold a Community Car Wash.
This year’s car wash will be held on Saturday August 6th from 9:00am – 1:00pm. The car wash is actually three car washes all held simultaneously at PNHS, Walker’s Grove and Ira Jones.
Below you will see a link for Parent Volunteers. Please consider volunteering for this event. After the first week of band camp our students are always ready to let loose and have some fun. Parents who have helped in the past have had a blast!
Here are some important points:
1. We ask that all students participate. If your student will not be able to attend, they need to speak with Mr. Hatcher ASAP. A key part of planning is ensuring each location has enough student and parent volunteers to be successful. In addition to contacting Mr. Hatcher please also send an e-mail to Mr. Seno at saljseno@gmail.com.
2. A link to site assignments is also available below. Please make sure your student knows that they must report to their assigned location unless Mr. Seno approves a swap. We are also providing this list so that parents are able to volunteer at the same site as their student.
3. We are asking each band member to visit with at least five neighbors about the car wash. Talking to neighbors is a great way to advertise the event. These visits also give students an opportunity to obtain pledges and to offer Guilt Free/Rainy Day Tickets. The Rainy Day Ticket provides an ‘insurance policy’ for the Marching Tigers in case the weather doesn’t cooperate. Key point: this fundraiser is intended to target our community not necessarily the student’s friends and family (our upcoming Fundraise Genius fundraiser is tailored to family).
