SENIOR RECOGNITION

IN-PERSON EXTRA REHEARSALS
Rehearsals will resume on May 6th due to the Spring Play.
Concert Band and Symphonic Band, will rehearse from 6:15-7:15pm, with check-in from 6-6:10pm.
For Wind Ensemble, rehearsals will be from 7:30-8:30pm with check-in from 7:20-7:30pm.
End of the year concert will be on Saturday, May 15th at the PNHS stadium. Specific time is 3pm. Call time for students is 2:30pm.
BRASS/WOODWIND MARCHING REHEARSALS
Update – Rehearsal this week will be from 5:30-7pm Due to the Spring Play performance beginning at 7pm.
On Tuesdays from 6-8pm for current 9th-11th graders planning on being in band this upcoming year. With COVID protocols, these rehearsals are optional. Students will need to self-certify on their phones and show the green screens to instructors upon arrival to rehearsal. Rehearsals will be in the eastside parking lot.
These rehearsals will be dedicated to movement and fitness. Students will not need their instruments. Students will need to wear athletic clothing, athletic shoes (running shoes are best), have water bottles, and you will need to bring a towel to lay down on hard surfaces such as the parking lot or gym.
COLORGUARD WORKSHOPS
This is for any current 8th-11th graders interested in being in marching band for the upcoming year. Workshops will be on Thursdays from 5-8pm.
Procedures: Wear a mask, have your items, and check-in with the guard instructors. Students will need to go through COVID-19 protocols with self certification when they arrive..
MARCHING PERCUSSION WORKSHOPS
This is for all current 8th-11th graders planning on doing band next year. Over the next couple months, our percussion staff will be working with students and setting them up on assigned instruments for the marching season. Click here for dates and times: http://www.pnhsbands.com/percussion/

GRADUATION
Graduation is on May 22nd, time is TBA. It is planned to be outside in the stadium. We are planning to have a band there to support our graduates. More information will be distributed as we know more about when graduation will occur.
JAZZ ENSEMBLE
Jazz Ensemble- Full in-person rehearsals are on Tuesdays, from 4:00-5:30. Check in starts at 3:45 at door N.

BAND MASKS AND BELL COVERS
Special masks and bell covers have been distributed to students that are learning in-person. These should be washed once a week. Wash on cold and air dry by laying flat. Students are responsible for care of these. We do not have extras if students lose or damage them.
