WINTER BAND CONCERT
Our Winter Concert is on Thursday, February 20th at 7pm in the PNHS Auditorium. Here are a few details as we lead up to the concert:
Concert Band will have an extra rehearsal with percussion on Wednesday, February 19th from 3-4pm.
Symphonic Band will rehearse with percussion prior to the concert on February 20th at 5:30pm.
Call time for Concert Band and Wind Ensemble on the concert night will be 6:15pm.
2020-2021 BAND PLACEMENT ASSESSMENT
Placement music for next year’s bands has been distributed to students and posted on the website under student resources. http://www.pnhsbands.com/student-resources/ Assessments will occur during the week of March 2nd. Note – There has been an amendment to the WIND scale requirements. They will now be performed live and not on Smartmusic.
BOOSTER ELECTIONS
The elections for our Band Booster Board are occurring at the next general meeting on March 4th. The candidates for each position are as follows:
PRESIDENT – Jason Rausch, VICE PRESIDENT – Theresa Whitney, TREASURER – Dana Loeblich.
All candidates are currently running unopposed.
We currently have nobody running for the position of SECRETARY. Anyone interested in running should contact Mike LeBlanc via email at mdleblanc@sbcglobal.net.
BOOSTER MEETINGS
These meetings are designed to help discuss supporting our band program through funding, volunteering, and music advocacy. The FEBRUARY General Meeting will be made up on Wednesday, March 4th, at 7pm. Enter through Door P at the school.
DINING OUT FUNDRAISERS
Save the date, our next dining out fundraiser is Monday, March 2nd at Chipotle.

QUINLAN AND FABISH (INSTRUMENT EQUIPMENT AND ACCESSORIES)
We have a district preferred retailer, Quinlan and Fabish, to help the needs of our students with their instruments and accessories. You may order through them and they will hand deliver items to us at our school. Also, instrument repair is highly suggested to go through Q&F. You may visit one of their locations (closest is on Rt. 30 in Montgomery), visit their website (www.qandf.com), or pick up a flyer in the band room.
