SOLO/ENSEMBLE FESTIVAL
Congratulations to all of our students involved in this year’s solo/ensemble festival. It is a tremendous feat to prepare and perform something on your own. WINTER BAND CONCERT
Our Winter Concert is on Thursday, February 20th at 7pm in the PNHS Auditorium. Here are a few details as we lead up to the concert:
Concert Band will have an extra rehearsal with percussion on Wednesday, February 19th from 3-4pm.
Symphonic Band will rehearse with percussion prior to the concert on February 20th at 5:30pm.
Call time for Concert Band and Wind Ensemble on the concert night will be 6:15pm.
DINING OUT FUNDRAISERS

Our next Tri-M meeting is on Monday, February 10th, at 2:20pm in the Choir Room.
PEP BAND
The final Pep Band performance is on the Friday, 2/14. This final performance will involve a pizza party and the inclusion of middle schoolers!
2020-2021 BAND PLACEMENT ASSESSMENT
Placement music for next year’s bands has been distributed to students and posted on the website under student resources. http://www.pnhsbands.com/student-resources/ Assessments will occur during the week of March 2nd.
BOOSTER ELECTIONS
An election will be held on March 4th at the regularly scheduled Band Booster meeting to fill the Executive Board positions. The positions up for election include President, Vice-President, Treasury and Secretary.
Student accounts must be in good standing if any family member is interested in running for office.
Anyone interested in running for one of these positions should contact Mike LeBlanc via email at mdleblanc@sbcglobal.net.
BOOSTER MEETINGS
These meetings are designed to help discuss supporting our band program through funding, volunteering, and music advocacy. The FEBRUARY General Meeting will be made up on Wednesday, February 12th, at 7pm. Enter through Door P at the school.

QUINLAN AND FABISH (INSTRUMENT EQUIPMENT AND ACCESSORIES)
We have a district preferred retailer, Quinlan and Fabish, to help the needs of our students with their instruments and accessories. You may order through them and they will hand deliver items to us at our school. Also, instrument repair is highly suggested to go through Q&F. You may visit one of their locations (closest is on Rt. 30 in Montgomery), visit their website (www.qandf.com), or pick up a flyer in the band room.
