QUINLAN AND FABISH INSTRUMENT STEP UP NIGHT
On Monday, at Plainfield Central, Quinlan and Fabish is hosting an instrument step-up night. This is a great event to try out next level instruments and upgrade your playing ability. Here is the flyer with more information:
COLLAGE CONCERTS
Our Holiday Collage Concerts are coming up shortly after Thanksgiving Break. The concerts will be on Saturday, December 7th, at 3pm & 5:30pm. Dress rehearsal will be on Friday, December 6th, from 2:30-6pm.
CONCERT ATTIRE
With concert season in full swing starting with the Collage Concerts, here is a reminder of concert attire required for those concerts:
Concert attire is new as of 2018-2019. This attire will be used for all concert performances. Students are responsible for supplying their concert attire:
- ALL Black Dress Pants/Slacks (No skirts, leggings or jeans), Black Dress Belt
- ALL Black Dress Top (Long sleeve button up dress shirt with collar or long sleeve blouse), Solid black long tie is optional
- ALL Black Dress Shoes – Male and Female Styles vary (No flip flops or sandals), Marching Band shoes are okay to wear-Shoes must be flats, no high heels or platforms
- ALL Black Dress Socks (Calf High), Female style shoes may not require socks
Failure to have any or all parts of the uniform will result in students not being able to perform.

Our next Tri-M meeting is on Monday, December 2nd, at 2:20pm in the Choir Room. All meetings will take place during the first Monday of each month.
DINING OUT FUNDRAISERS
Our next dining out fundraiser is Monday, December 16th at Noodles and Co. in Plainfield. The band will receive a percentage of your purchase.

These meetings are designed to help discuss supporting our band program through funding, volunteering, and music advocacy. The next General Meeting will occur on Wednesday, JANUARY 8th at 7pm. Enter through Door P at the school. The DECEMBER meeting will be for committee heads, only.
ABSENCES FROM EVENTS
If a student needs to be absent from an event(such as rehearsal or performance), you must submit the absence through the form on the website. http://www.pnhsbands.com/absence-request-form/ Submission does not guarantee absences are excused.

QUINLAN AND FABISH (INSTRUMENT EQUIPMENT AND ACCESSORIES)
We have a district preferred retailer, Quinlan and Fabish, to help the needs of our students with their instruments and accessories. You may order through them and they will hand deliver items to us at our school. Also, instrument repair is highly suggested to go through Q&F. You may visit one of their locations (closest is on Rt. 30 in Montgomery), visit their website (www.qandf.com), or pick up a flyer in the band room.
