HOMECOMING GAME
Our Homecoming Game is this Friday. Uniform closet will open at 5:00pm and warm-up starts at 5:45pm. Game will start at 7pm with halftime around 8pm. For this game, we will stay for the FULL GAME. Dismissal will be around 9:30pm
TRI-M
Tri-M (National Music Honor Society) information and application has been distributed to students. The due date for materials is September 30th. Returning members need to complete the top half of the application ONLY, new applicants must have their application completed in FULL. Late applications will not be accepted. The application is also available on the website.
SMARTMUSIC
Smartmusic assignments are posted at www.smartmusic.com with the show music. Scene 4 will be DUE BY OCTOBER 7TH. Submit it at home with an iPad or Computer with a microphone. Scenes 1-3 are now past due.
ULTIMATE DOT BOOK
Dot Books are far past due. If students did not have it complete, they currently have a ZERO gradebook. The hard deadline will be on OCTOBER 7TH. At that point, ZEROs will be permanent.
FLORIDA TRIP
Be aware, the final payment for Florida will be withdrawn on October 18th.
JAZZ BAND
The Jazz season will be here before we know it! We typically start the week after our marching season is done. Below are some important dates for the beginning of the season (more dates may be added to the calendar throughout the year). Contact Mr. LaVallee with any questions.
Audition packets go out the week of October 7-11
Auditions: Monday October 28th, 7:00 PM
First Rehearsal: Tuesday October 29th, 7:00 PM
(The rest of the rehearsal schedule will be included in the audition packet and included on the band calendar soon)
Performance: Collage Concert, Saturday December 7 (2 performances)
Performance: Barnes and Noble Book Fair, Monday, December 16 (TBA)
Performance: Jazz Café at Ira Jones, Thursday, February 27 6:00 PM

DINING OUT FUNDRAISERS
Our next dining out fundraiser is October 28th at Portillo’s. The band will receive a percentage of your purchase.
BOOSTER MEETINGS
These meetings are designed to help discuss supporting our band program through funding, volunteering, and music advocacy. The next General Meeting will occur on Wednesday, October 2nd at 7pm. Enter through Door P at the school.
PERCUSSION REQUIRED MATERIALS

QUINLAN AND FABISH (INSTRUMENT EQUIPMENT AND ACCESSORIES)We have a district preferred retailer, Quinlan and Fabish, to help the needs of our students with their instruments and accessories. You may order through them and they will hand deliver items to us at our school. Also, instrument repair is highly suggested to go through Q&F.
