25-26 BAND INFORMATION NIGHT – 4/16/25
Come join us as we kick-off a new year. This is for current 8th-11th graders enrolled for band next year at PNHS.
WIND ENSEMBLE to ISU (4/25/25)
Wind Ensemble was invited to play at Illinois State University on the evening of April 25th. Here is the initial schedule:

We’ll have an additional rehearsal on Wednesday, April 23rd, from 6-8pm
CONCERT/SYMPHONIC BAND 2nd SEMESTER REHEARSALS
Concert and Symphonic Bands will have combined rehearsals leading up to concerts. The rehearsals will be on these Thursdays from 2:20-3:20pm: April 24th, and May 1st. Please plan ahead!

JAZZ BAND at THE VENUE (4/29/25)
Our PNHS Jazz Band will be performing at the Venue in Aurora, IL on April 29th, 2025. The Venue is a very cool place to see music and is nestled in downtown Aurora at 21 S. Broadway.
We will be performing with Plainfield South and the Pete Ellman Big Band. The schedule for the evening will be as follows:
Plainfield North High School 6:30-7:00 PM
Plainfield South High School 7:00-7:30 PM
Pete Ellman Big Band 7:30- 9:00 PM
You may use the following link to order tickets- http://themusicvenue.org/. This will be our first time doing this performance with 2 high school groups, so I would suggest pre-ordering tickets to ensure that you have good seats. The venue sells beverages and snacks. As a result, they will not allow any carry-in beverages. You may bring in food from outside, and Jimmy Johns will even deliver. However, they will not allow you to bring in any beverages with your meal.

JUST DESSERTS 5/1/25
Our Just Desserts event is coming up on Thursday, May 1. The planning committee is looking for 1-2 additional volunteers to help with coordinating and planning the event.. There will also be additional volunteer opportunities for the day of the event (more to come).
