COMMUNICATION ISSUES
It’s important that we get communication out to all families, especially when we are traveling. Remind started putting limitations on how many messages can be sent through an entire district. We will still use Remind when available, however, we’ve established some messaging through Cut Time, which has its flaws. Social Media-both band sites and family & friends sites are a great source of delivering info. We will also email and post on Google Classroom when necessary. We promise there will be no shortage of information out there.

Our 3rd game of the season is here. This game is pediatric cancer awareness night. All students will wear yellow sashes to show support. Agenda:

ABSENCE REPORT
If a student is missing a full band rehearsal or performance for an excused absence, parents/guardians should complete the Absence Report Form at this link. http://www.pnhsbands.com/absence-request-form/ If a student has to be gone during a sectional, guard and percussion should notify their instructors, and wind players should notify their section leaders. If there is a long term absence, please e-mail Mr. Hatcher with details. SUBMISSION OF THE FORM DOES NOT AUTOMATICALLY EXCUSE THE ABSENCE. Please look at the handbook for more details.
