During band camp, students have an afternoon snack break and a dinner break. Donations of snacks and desserts help keep the students fueled up.
Please see the snack/dessert schedule below. Please note: This is only meant to be a supplement to the dinner they bring in, not a substitute for their meal.
Snack/Dessert schedule—Each class will take a day to bring in donations. There will also be paper product donation options on the sign up.
Monday 8/1 and 8/8 Seniors-Snack Freshmen-Dessert
Tuesday 8/2 and 8/9 Leftovers
Wednesday 8/3 and 8/10Juniors-Snack Sophomores-Dessert
Thursday 8/4 and 8/11Leftover
Friday 8/5Leftovers
The students can drop off the snack/dessert/paper product donation in the cafeteria when they arrive before camp or parents can drop it off in the cafeteria at 4:30 pm.
Snack Ideas: Any kind of fruit. Watermelon cut into wedges is especially popular. With the heat, frozen grapes and berries are a welcome treat. Veggies- carrots, celery, broccoli, cauliflower, etc. portioned out in snack size plastic bags are great. Bottles of ranch dressing also appreciated–we can portion out into cups. Wrapped snacks: granola bars, rice krispy treats, bags of chips, pretzels, muffins, cheez-its, trail mix, ice freeze pops, cheese sticks, frozen GoGurts. Prepackaged snacks are always a good choice. Dessert ideas: cookies of all kinds, brownies, cupcakes, etc. **PLEASE NO NUT ITEMS OF ANY KIND**
We do allow home baked goods, but please provide a list of ingredients to avoid any possible allergy issues.
Please let us know specifically what snack/dessert/paper product donation you plan to bring in the Sign Up Genius comment section.
NOTE: We ask that you bring in your food donations in disposable containers/serving dishes. If that is not possible, please make sure that you label bottoms, tops and utensils with your name. You can pick up your dishes after dinner in the cafeteria. Also please make sure you label the tops and bottoms of your child’s water bottles/jugs/coolers, so pieces don’t get lost.
