It’s time to kick-off summer with our annual mini-camp. Mini-camp will run Monday to Thursday (6/6-6/9) from 6-9pm.
Each day prior to the start of rehearsal, I’ll send a schedule through text. It will include where we will meet and what we will do in the given time frame.
ATTENDANCE: Students are expected to be at mini-camp, however, we understand that it is summer and some families have other commitments. From here on out, if a student needs to miss rehearsal, parents need to fill out this form for each occurrence, please do not e-mail: http://www.pnhsbands.com/absence-request-form/
ROSTER is now finalized. Please let me know as soon as possible if there are any issues. The drill writing process has begun.
SCHOOL INSTRUMENTS: For those soon to be 9th graders that need to check out instruments, such as Bass Clarinet, Tenor Sax, Bari Sax, Mellophone/Horn, and Tuba. We will have instrument distribution on Monday, the first day of mini-camp. You should provide your own mouthpiece/reeds/valve oil, etc. If there are any issues with that, please let Mr. Hatcher know.
MUSIC-Have your binder with sheet protectors and we’ll distribute music to those that need it on Monday, as well.

Forms are PAST DUE. We will review your form and send you a statement with the charges. We appreciate your prompt response to the form and subsequent payment to ensure that we receive uniforms and equipment prior to the start of the marching season.
Regarding shoes for veterans. If a student’s marching shoes still fit and are in acceptable condition, they may re-use their shoes for the upcoming fall season. If not, please select Marching Shoes in the “Optional Accessories” section of the form.

STUDENTS WILL NEED TO BRING THESE ITEMS TO REHEARSALS:
- Your instrument/equipment in working condition w/ all necessary accessories. This includes sticks and flags. ABSOLUTELY NO SHARING OF EQUIPMENT
- 1-inch three ring binder and at least 10 sheet protectors for music (You will need this on the first day!) – Keep a PENCIL in your binder
- Half gallon or gallon insulated water jug w/ cold water – ABSOLUTELY NO SHARING
- Label w/ your name to avoid losing
- Insect repellent for evenings
- Shirt that covers your shoulders (All attire must be school appropriate) – Dry wicking shirts are best
- Athletic shorts – the lighter the better
- Socks and solid tie shoes, firmly tied onto your feet. No sandals or slip-on’s. Best shoes are RUNNING SHOES!!
- Long sleeves and long pants in case of cool evenings, and you may need this with the air conditioning inside
