FOOTBALL GAME
We have our first game of the year this Friday! I’ll send out details on Wednesday with the football game itinerary. It typically runs from 5:30-9:30pm, but we are waiting on some details from athletics to finalize the event plans.

FUNDRAISE GENIUS
Our fundraising “giving” campaign is kicking off through Fundraise Genius. Students had a list of contacts to create and turn in by TUESDAY. Once we get all the contacts needed, we’ll send out details for individuals to donate to our band program.
FACEMASKS
Masks are still optional outside. Outside activities are low risk. Masks are REQUIRED inside. Same for any parent volunteers. Hopefully, we do not have a need to go inside for rehearsal, but to use restrooms, get snacks, get equipment, etc., you will need to wear a mask.
DURING CLASS: Students are required to have their performance mask and bell covers. If for any reason you lose yours or want an extra, Amazon and online music stores carry them in stock.

ATTENDANCE
Expectations are now set to students needing to be in attendance to participate. A student’s grade for band can now be affected by the attendance policy. If for any reason a student needs to miss a rehearsal/practice, PARENTS need to complete this online form: http://www.pnhsbands.com/absence-request-form/
GROUP CHAT/TEXT AND SOCIAL MEDIA
Students use many platforms for group chatting, especially within sections. It is great that students socialize and help each other out with information. However, conversations and posts are liable for consequences from the school deans. Keep it appropriate! Parents and students, please report any misuse of these platforms.
