SNACKS

COVID SYMPTOMS
We are no longer doing self-certifications, but if a student is not feeling well, please keep them home. If a student has a positive COVID test, please stay home and contact the school. We’ll do our best to make sure everyone is in a safe environment.
FACEMASKS
Masks are still optional outside. Outside activities are low risk. However, if we have to go inside, we currently would like students to wear masks and use bell covers. Same for any parent volunteers. Hopefully, we do not have a need to go inside for rehearsal. Always better safe than sorry!
BAND CAMP MEALS
Students will have the opportunity to eat inside or outside during dinner breaks. If inside, students should space at least 3ft apart and face the same direction as other students (no sitting across from each other). Inside is a nice break with air conditioning, but we’ll take precautions. No restrictions on eating outside. Students must stay on campus during meal times. Meals during band camp will be from 5-5:45pm.

ATTENDANCE
Expectations are now set to students needing to be in attendance to participate. A day missed from band camp is very difficult for a student to catch up on the material learned. A student’s grade for band can now be affected by the attendance policy. If for any reason a student needs to miss a rehearsal/practice, PARENTS need to complete this online form: http://www.pnhsbands.com/absence-request-form/
CAR WASH

GROUP CHAT/TEXT AND SOCIAL MEDIA
Students use many platforms for group chatting, especially within sections. It is great that students socialize and help each other out with information. However, conversations and posts are liable for consequences from the school deans. Keep it appropriate! Parents and students, please report any misuse of these platforms.
MARCHING BAND FINAL PAYMENT DUE

DRUM CORPS SHOW
On Saturday, August 7th, Drum Corps is back and will be at Benedictine University in Lisle. This is a great opportunity to see marching arts at a higher level. BOOSTER MEETING
PARENTS: Our next booster meeting is Wednesday, August 4th, at 7pm in the stadium. Please make it if you can. We would love to see parents get involved with the band program.
