Band Camp is an exciting and exhausting two weeks. You will be physically tired and mentally drained at times. That’s normal (for the staff too!). Expect to have moments of fatigue and frustration. It’s okay. If it were easy, everyone would be good.
YOU WILL NEED TO BRING:
- Your instrument/equipment in working condition w/ all necessary accessories
- Dinner
everyday (including beverage). Bring in
a cooler or have your parents drop it off.
- Students may not leave campus for dinner
- Hat that will cover your head from the sun and sunglasses to protect your sight
- Half
gallon or gallon insulated water jug w/ cold water – no sharing
- Label w/ your name to avoid losing
- Sunscreen, spf 30 or better and protective lip balm.
- Insect repellent for evenings
- Shirt that covers your shoulders (All attire must be school appropriate) – Dry wicking shirts are best
- Athletic shorts – the lighter the better
- Socks and solid tie shoes, firmly tied onto your feet. No sandals or slip-on’s. Best shoes are running shoes or something with a flexible sole.
- Day bag w/ change of clothes in case we get rained on(shoes would be good too)
- Long sleeves and long pants in case of cool evenings. It will be chilly due to A/C in the school.
- Pencil w/ eraser, everyday
- 1-inch binder and sheet protectors for music

Cooling towel to cover neck on breaks
Anti-chafing product
Fanny pack – holds drill chalk, marking chips, pencil, etc.

Students are required to stay on campus at all times!
MASKS and COVID Protocols: Masks are optional. Bell covers will still be expected, if we are inside. We will be outside for rehearsing unless weather doesn’t allow us to be. Students may eat at meal times outside or inside at the tables in the cafeteria. Students and parents no longer need to self-certify before an activity or school.
